  It is recommended to be kept in a cool dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life, if refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.

  Contradictions: Non-toxic, generally non-irritating. if oxidized, it may cause irritation or sensitization. Please keep in a cool dry place, away from heat. There is an indication that it may interfere with those with a blood disorder and those on blood thinners. It is suspected that this effect may be due to the presence of Estragole, also know as Methylchavicol, in the oil. According to Essential oil Safety second edition Robert Tisserand/ Rodney Young, p 553 "Estragole have an in vitro antiplatelet effect. This effect is compared to diluted aspirin solution". Please check with your doctor if you have a blood disorder prior to using this oil. Recommendation 1-3% dilution with a carrier oil. Do not use undiluted.
